M&S Clinical Trial Suite | CTS testing consists of a variety of visual acuity and contrast sensitivity testing algorithms. These seamlessly step the user through the eye charts presented. The algorithms directly respond to user input regarding correct/incorrect results. Due to its modular design, each suite can be customized specifically to meet the sponsors’ study/trial needs. It comes with a variety of hardware options based on test selection.

The CTS algorithms strictly adhere to the ANSI and ISO standards. They follow the American Academy of Ophthalmology Task Force recommendations. Moreover, they are accepted for use in Phase III Endpoint Trials, and are peer-reviewed and published by prominent industry professionals. The science behind CTS ensures a high level of precision and repeat-ability. This ensures reliable, consistent results from site to site and visit to visit.

Other features and functions are available. These include testing vision under glare conditions and testing at photopic or mesopic luminance levels. Additionally, there is an auto-upload of test data to any EDC or reading center.

M&S Technologies offers comprehensive on-site installation, training and certification services. Training includes review and understanding of test protocol, verification of device operation, data entry, calibration, luminance settings, and distance measurements. It also includes data collection and reporting procedures. Certification of the primary investigator (P.I.) and others is the full responsibility of M&S. They also handle re-certification and records management.
